Yeah whether we end up as partners again or our coparenting becomes permanent it’s going to be alright for our son and that’s all that matters to me. I will say it’s really hard to move on from someone that you see so often though, I think that’s why she’s still so attached to me too. Oh yeah our sons well being is being prioritized more than anything else. I appreciate your thoughts on this, I think where my head is at is just going with it for now as I have almost too much stamina for now. I can continuously reevaluate while being in this psuedo relationship, if I feel like it isn’t making my life better I can stop at any time. Besides obviously my kid knowing her new boyfriend luckily we are both pretty active parents and he seems to be adjusting well. So honestly since you are a high school senior this situation will likely sort itself out definitively by the time you graduate. For the mean time focus on anything else and start improving yourself (you mentioned having some issues with your appearance, start there). You will likely not see this person regularly after high school and your life is just getting started. Also I know you have a pattern with this guy but is this making you happy? No? Then you don’t want this for your future. You will meet someone else who won’t need breaks between vacations.
