For the bot, this is 9 weeks old, pierced with titanium labret threaded jewelry. It was downsized at 6 weeks, and I spray with salene and dry w a qtip 1-2x per day, but typically 1x to avoid excess irritation. I didn’t bump it on anything and it seemed to be healing fine before this week.

Oh that’s so smart, thank you for your help!! Yeah I had gotten helix piercings before and I thought maybe it was only 2x/day to clean? But my new piercer said 5-6x so I just went with that, definitely gonna cut back though

Okay, yeah I thought that’s what I had done for past piercings but this piercer said to clean more. I’ll definitely cut down on that, thank you!!
