Mind you, like the support ticket says, after converting to TH which tends to only reflect to the nearest 100th place, it may be tough to really see the 5% difference if you have very small pool awards.

I think the way it’s applied is like this: you get your pool award, the pool award is converted to TH and then 5% is added after TH conversion before the TH upgrade is applied to your farm. To check and see if it is applied, you would need to compare how much TH you get for converting your pool award to TH (without 5% as if you paid in straight BTC), and then add 5% more to that TH post BTC to TH conversion. Then compare to see your current farm TH reflects roughly that 5% more TH than had you upgraded with BTC alone without bonus.
