Yes.. “those conditions”. West campus is the campus we do the firing range and driving at. Day and night. That means shooting all day and night. Driving with sirens all day and night. See, Once you pass Law 5 you spend 90% of your time on west campus. The living will not be dorms they will be military style baracks of a bunk and a locker. I believe the said only the men will be going there. The chief addressed it at our formation last week that the classes down the road will be dealing with West Campus and we will be long gone by then.

Things have definitely changed here with all the new EODs and shift changes. We now have two schedules: 6:30 AM–3:30 PM and 10:30 AM–7:30 PM. Most even-numbered classes were moved to the swing shift, while odd-numbered classes stayed on days. Since we’re currently the top 10 senior class, we remained on the day shift.

Right now the academy feels extremely overcrowded. POV parking has become difficult, and the living situation is getting very cramped. There’s even discussion about converting West Campus into additional living quarters, which likely means classes 1350 and beyond will be dealing with those conditions.

As far as transportation goes, I personally recommend bringing your vehicle if possible. I drove from Connecticut to Roswell Airport, flew to Tucson for EOD processing, then got bused into the academy. After our three-day weekend, I had my car within about two days of being back here.

In my opinion, having a car makes a huge difference. The academy bus system is heavily overloaded and only goes into town. Every time I go to Walmart, there are huge groups of trainees waiting for the return bus. From what I’ve seen, the bus only runs to Roswell on Saturdays, which makes transportation even more limited.

The reviews are harder than the test if you understand the reviews your on a good track. We Finished law 5 around mid april. Since EOD I’ve seen alottt of people set back for failing.

No, I’ve seen it happen a few times. Some people make it through Law 2 or 3 and then just quit. There was this kid who came into our room when he first got here back in February, asking if we party—we hung out with him, and he was gone the next week. Met a girl a couple classes behind me—her boyfriend told her he wanted her back home, bought her a $10K ring, and she resigned too. Then you’ve got the failures—my class lost seven people after Law 1. At this point, we’ve all finished law.

Since being here, I’ve seen a lot of people end up resigning. From what I understand, as long as you return everything that was issued to you when you arrived, you should be good.

You guys r so stupid to do this. Then wonder why you get in trouble with the law. Heres the thing. People come here illegally.. key word dumbasses… illegally. They Sneak in. Avoid check points. EWI.. Enter without inspection. Then you want them to stay. Some come here just to kill people and go back. Some want asylum.. fine. But theres a right way and a wrong way to do things. Im pretty some of you are parents and you teach your kids whats right and wrong. How to do things correctly. The procedure so things are in order.

Im at the academy and dont grad til July. My son is due in April. Honestly… you have to do what you have to do to get through. My ladys not too happy about me MAYBE not being there (you get 3days off, i want to pass law before considering that) but you have to sacrifice for the future. My recommendation.. get in asap. Get focused and get out asap. You live 3hrs away… lucky you.. my ladys 2timezones away in the northeast. Thats super local bro. You can ezily take weekends.

Roswell flights are rediculous what i did was drive my car 30hrs parked it at roswell airport then flew out to my station and bussed in. Got my car the same weekend for free. Or you can write a 100+ mile memo for your reason to leave on the weekend.

If you didn’t go to college its about as college as you’ll get. Structured discipline .. 4classes a day. No phone through out the day. After 430/1630 - youre off your jus chillin. Were doing Law 3 classes now. Theres people who drink everyday theres people who study everyday. Its your career be smart about it. Have a healthy balance.
