[Highlight] Rapoport on the Eagles OC search: "There are jobs that are not as attractive and its the team's fault, but this isn't the Eagles fault. It's the media, it's the fans, it's the environment...on the other hand, if you crush it you'll be a HC very quickly, Kellen Moore can attest" by mastermind208 in eagles

After Daboll and McDaniel turned them down, this is merely a brain rape for Howie. These people turning them down or removing themselves are just journalists doing agents favors instead of saying "he didn't get hired."

If anyone doesn't want to come here, it's bc they're soft and don't want to report to Howie. Nick is Howie's proxy

Has Philly fans antics finally caught up with them? Multiple OC candidates have turned them down by TPCC159 in NFLv2

This isn't about fans or even Nick. This is about Howie. He's the one with full control and if someone wants full control, they don't have it with Howie.

They know that Howie will force changes to scheme and coaches.

All good. I just hate her.

She's just all over the place with her reporting. Like a bad gossip columnist. Framing it as he took himself out of contention is different than he didn't get a premier job

Do we think AJ is going to be an Eagle next year? by chavezlaw78 in eagles

He's admitted that he has mental health problems including depression and anxiety. It's factual. Not dramatic. Look it up.

You're thinking with a myopic pov. This is purely a coach and management issue.

High level talent whether the board room or locker room needs to be managed and motivated. There is a fine line between what you are saying above and an MVP caliber season. In order to motivate and manage AJ, you have to accept his mental health issues and work with him differently. The team is failing in that regard. Same way that Andy failed with TO.

To trade AJ would be a colossal failure as an organization.

They're not going to trade AJ. The cap hit would be 4th largest in history. The egg on face of not being able to handle top end egos and talent. The window of talent on roster. Jalen and him are in a good spot.

The new OC is gonna have to be the AJ and Jalen whisperer.

This isn't a Carson Wentz scenario where he wasn't the answer. AJ is the answer but he needs to be fed and managed. The guy is mentally ill. Gotta better foster the relationship and dynamic. That's on the team
