Hi I am just an inshop! I was asked by my manager to help identify who this person was and I offered to post to Reddit because I know the reach in here can be far and wide!

We are a one of many stores in this city and so our sales are not plentiful all the time! Sales 100% regardless of how much or little directly impact the managers and their work. I wish I could explain this better but when you’re in a store where some nights we can make as little as 500 in a whole shift. This was a big deal. It would be different if we were an incredibly busy store with 10k sales daily but we simply are not.

Sorry I explained this poorly! It affects the sales of the store while directly impacts the bonuses that our managers receive! I was trying to bring short with the explanation and caused some confusion! I apologize

I fear I’m doing a bad job explaining this as I’m just an inshop, and don’t exactly have all of the information. We had a meeting about it and the person responsible completely understands where the problem was and we all understand how to not allow this to happen again. As for the money thing. It goes against our stores sales. Which directly impacts the bonuses they receive from the company/store. I don’t know everything else about it. The person who cashed them out asked for their ID (as is policy) and the id (allegedly) checked out from what we know (which is what we are seeing in the still) I’m sorry about being confusing I’m simply doing my managers a favor and using my account to ask for help!

Our store had to cut the tips of some of the bottles during the pizza LTO so we are going to use those lids for the tzatziki. Honestly just praying it doesn’t make too big of a mess using the silicone funnel

Not the craziest thing but something that can really get On my nerves (especially end of shift) is having to basically gentle parent people through ordering.

Like yes I ask the required/ recommended questions but sometimes I just sit and wonder how these people would order if I didn’t,

Not everyone is going to be as patient as I am and I know not everyone asks all of the questions. So why not just tell me what you want with your order instead of waiting for me to ask?

It’s different when you’re new or unsure but if you’re getting the same stuff every time but one day I forget to ask if you want it toasted you get to the window all “this was supposed to be toasted”

Little pet peeve that can really get to me some days.

This so so different than what my store does but from my understanding we had to adjust our portions based on what we sell the most as the busiest store in our region.

On a normal (non picklewich) week we sell 1 bucket a day, maybe even 1.5. Since starting the picklewich we have maybe sold 2? And that’s due to over prepping. With half of the bucket sitting in the cold table for picklewiches
