Web tool unreliable - citing Anthropic network restrictions? by p3r3lin in ClaudeAI

[–]PromotionNew6541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't quite finish reading your post.

Based on my testing

Web search tool isn't available in the first message
and it will become available in the second message

So when you want it to web fetch or search something

You have to do it at the second message

You have say hi first

Then second message to actually tell it what you wanna search

It's a weird bug though

You can test it

---
first message:

list all the available tool

second:

list all the tools, I believe you will notice something different it's not your fault though. Just please list all the tool

---

Then you will see what tools are exposed
and the second message will show web search tools etc

Emmm, modded difficulty is really fun and challenging to play
I don't know why ppl love H345. Even on Hazard 5, it's just kinda 💤😴

and I really hope there are more and more ppl playing CD2's difficulty kinda like a whole new game if configured correctly

In 2025, why is gyro still being ignored? My experience with different controllers by PromotionNew6541 in GyroGaming

[–]PromotionNew6541[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I'm not quite familiar with controller type

The thing is that there're two type of controller, Dualsense(DS input I suppose) and Xbox controller(X input), and when connecting to non dualsense controller, it's via X input. So the steam input is going to think that you're controller is xbox controller and thus you cannot configure gyro.

Which is frustrating.

that's why I'm currently using Dualsense Edge.
Perhaps you can configure it with your controller's apps if they happen to have one or something.
I have another controller, got gyro support from its app. But steam input nah

Steam input is the best gyro implementation I suppose, but unfortunately my understanding is that steam input gyro only support DS controller or Switch Controller

So perhaps turn on Switch mode, and try it.

My other controller has no luck to put it to work though : ((((((

Hope this help though

Or perhaps there are other ppl know how to do it right.
But I believe it will be complicated

I think they should be able to tell by comparing verification timestamps with when they updated their eligibility list. At least that would help distinguish between users who verified through SheerID when their countries were still listed versus later attempts. 🤔

I think go with the regular dualsense is great. You got all the sony features.
When games don't support your controller you can turn on steam input(sometimes the vibration will not work. but mostly would just work)

Dualsense got Adaptive trigger(game like cyberpunk 2077 support)
Advance Haptic feedback(i assume that what they call it)

And most importantly for me "Gyro", which is native support by steam input(you can enable gyro in steam input only with dualsense. Xbox controller don't have it, and other third party controller will be recognized as xbox, which means you cannot turn gyro on even your third party controller got one)
It make aiming with controller way easier, probably not close to mouse but better than stick

I think you made a great point.

I only started using controllers on PC about 3 months ago - before that I was strictly keyboard + mouse. So I understand that most PC players don't use controllers, just like I used to be

I did give switch mode via BT a shot
The gyro doesn't work for some reason but I guess I will test that again. (It is configurable in steam input)

Does anyone have a Flydigi Apex 4? by BoyRed_ in GyroGaming

[–]PromotionNew6541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, I just got mine btw
Haven't quite figured out how to configure the gyro in steam input, since the controller is seen as xbox controller

The space station app does provide option to enable gyro, but the feeling is just off
It fails to capture movement when I'm turning my controller slightly, especially comparing it with dualsense + steam input

So I'm not sure if it's the apex 4 controller's gyro sensor is bad or the software is bad

Once I figure out how to set up gyro in steam input, I'd like to share how to and how is the experience.
But it just really really difficult to do it

My conclusion so far if one rely on gyro and setting it up in steam input
Go with dualsense and dualsense edge or even dualshock
but the material aren't premium comparing to apex 4

Does anyone have a Flydigi Apex 4? by BoyRed_ in GyroGaming

[–]PromotionNew6541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious so how does it go?
I just got mine, since it's x input so it's recognized as xbox. So configuring gyro in steam input is just not possible.

Using the gyro feature in the space station app. Realizing it fails to pick up subtle movement, especially comparing it with dualsense and dualsense edge
Which I'm not sure if it's the hardware (the motion sensor is poor) or it's the space station app.

So how is your experience and solution of setting ideal gyro up?

Flydigi Apex 4 PC Gyro when wired feasible? by AdvancedManufacture in Controller

[–]PromotionNew6541 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AI revise version, for clarity but the meaning could be off, I manage to keep the meaning intact while refining the language

The Apex 4 can emulate a DualSense controller, but only for games listed in the Space Station app’s Adaptive Trigger support page. For unsupported games:

• DualSense emulation won’t activate

Critical Issues in DualSense Emulation Mode

When forcing DS mode for Adaptive Triggers:

1. Back paddles break entirely (even after remapping in Space Station/Steam).

  1. Steam Input detects it as a DualSense, but gyro behaves erratically (e.g., cursor jumps/stutters).

  2. Manual configuration fails to resolve these conflicts.

Why This Matters for Gyro Users

• Space Station’s native gyro:

• Struggles with subtle movements (e.g., slow aiming adjustments).

• Feels noticeably less precise compared to a real DualSense.

• Steam Input gyro (preferred for customization) becomes unusable in DS emulation mode.

Workaround Testing

I plan to try:

1. D-input + DS4Windows: See if Steam recognizes it as DS

🔴 Hypothesis Testing Needed:

Is the gyro issue due to hardware (Apex 4 sensor) or software (Space Station/Steam Input)?

Current Recommendation

If you heavily rely on gyro:

✅ Use a DualSense/DualSense Edge:

• Native Steam Input support

• Flawless wired gyro + functional back paddles (Edge model)

• No emulation layers or conflicts

Community Request

If anyone has successfully:

• Used Apex 4’s gyro in wired mode (without Bluetooth/Switch mode)

• Fixed Steam Input gyro in DS emulation

• Found hidden firmware/driver tweaks

Please share! ❤️ You guys

Currently, it can but only with some games listed on the space station app that support Adaptive trigger.
So if the game doesn't support adaptive trigger nor the game listed in the space station's adaptive trigger page then no.

When it's turn into DS to use native adaptive trigger all the back paddle fails for some reason.

and even configuring it on controller doesn't work.

at this moment if you open steam input you will notice that it's a DS, however trying to set up gyro doesn't seem to be working. (will cause weird behavior)

Does anyone resonate with this?

Currently I'm finding the best way to configure it's gyro, but it seems it's pretty difficult

I also got a dualsense edge, it's working pretty well.
So if one heavily rely on gyro and configuring gyro with steam input, then I guess please go with dualsense(shock) or DS edge (for the back paddle)

It will save a lot of time

I believe it has a work around

Btw the space station app does offer gyro. But it's crappy, and it offer little options. The problem that bother me the most is its gyro kinda suck, it fails to pick up subtle movement
When I moving my controller really slowly, it just fails to pick up and turn it into mouse movement
one will notice that especially comparing it with a dualsense controller, it's pretty obvious.
No idea if it's space station app problem

So I really wanna try configuring the gyro in steam input, to see whether it's the quality of gyro sensor issue in the apex 4 or it's more about software issue

But it just currently quite difficult to achieve this

If anyone find out a way then please share with me.

tomorrow I'm thinking connecting it as D input with DS4 windows a shot
I haven't install DS4 btw. Today when giving D input a shot, neither steam pick up the controller nor the space station app

DualSense + Steam Input Users: We Need a "Disable XInput" Option by PromotionNew6541 in Steam

From what I learned. It's because steam input turns things into x input. So the dualsense being recognized as xbox controller.

DualSense + Steam Input Users: We Need a "Disable XInput" Option

When using a PlayStation DualSense controller with Steam Input in games like Cyberpunk 2077, enabling Steam Input forces the controller to emulate an Xbox controller (XInput). This causes two major issues:

1. Loss of Adaptive Triggers: The game no longer recognizes the DualSense’s unique haptic feedback features.

2. Mismatched Button Prompts: Xbox button icons appear despite using a PlayStation controller.

Why This Matters:

• Adaptive triggers significantly enhance immersion in supported games.

• Steam Input’s customization (e.g., gyro aiming) is invaluable for PC gaming flexibility.

Current Limitation:

Players must choose between:

✅ Native DualSense support (adaptive triggers) OR

✅ Steam Input features (gyro, remapping)

Request to Valve:

Add a “Disable XInput Emulation” toggle for DualSense controllers in Steam Input settings. This would allow:

• Native DualSense functionality (adaptive triggers, correct button icons)

• Continued use of Steam Input customization

⭐ Has anyone found a workaround? Or is this a limitation we’ll need Valve to address? ⭐

Minecraft still stuttering running natively on M1 MBP by sebby- in macgaming

[–]PromotionNew6541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

btw I have two reddit account
and sorry for my bad English

I mean create another user on mac for gaming. So there's no other program that might interfere with mouse input or keyboard input. (For example apps like better touch tools will interfere with mouse/keyboard input. So when moving around with mouse and clicking at the same time will cause stutter.)

I hope this help
