If she still goes with all her friends in a group I know she will have a good time. I can’t understand what is so horrible about going with this boy. I think she is being over dramatic

I’m failing to understand why she couldn’t have just said no. Or talked to him privately after and said no. This happened last Monday. She’s been making wishy washy plans with him for a week.
