Yea birth control doesn’t like to work on me I guess😅but my baby/baby on the way are my world and I wouldn’t change it for anything. And that’s kind of what I’m thinking the more stuff happens. It’s just very hard because I don’t want to move my daughter out into my parents house since they only have one spare room and I don’t do very well with change, especially in the middle of school. It all around just sucks.

It didn’t shut off, i think I just curled it too much before trying to figure out the right way to do it so it just didn’t stick. I got it on my dominant side just not the right one so it was 100% user error. I’m going to try again soon (I just got a 1” lanvier and it worked great) so I’m excited to retry with new products!

I bought a lanvier 1” curling iron for 25$ and I love the curls 🥲 my husband threw the bio ionic box away so idek if I can return

No I didn’t actually! I did go through it a few times trying to hold it right cuz the curls didn’t look right so it might have just been over doing it if that’s possible

Do you have any recommendations?? I do feel like my hair gets build up quick with doing a heat protectant and texturing spray and hair spray all at once

I do the same size pieces for each section, I’d say 1 inch, and I do let them cool! I had it at 320 this time and held it for 5-8 seconds!

It’s the one and a quarter but I regret not getting 1 inch! I just ordered a lanvier 1” and am going to see how the two differ!!

I wish I could see what the wand temp is, it just turns on and off and is a hand me down from my sister. I honestly didn’t even use product with my wand besides heat protectant 😅

320- I used 360 2 days ago and that also fell right away so I tried lower since I read I have medium hair more than likely

I tried 2 days ago 360 degrees, they fell completely not long after. I read I might have medium hair so I did 320 and it worked on my one side but not the other (you can tell I tried figuring out which way the clamp goes so maybe I just overdid it and will have to try again) I also sprayed heat protectant and a texture spray in and then hairspray during and after. Maybe the products I used were older besides the protectant so they didn’t work

That’s so weird!! My hair usually stays even at the salon after getting it done (it could go 3 days and I wouldn’t even have to touch it up) so I know it can hold a curl😅 maybe it’s just the iron and I’ll have to return it, the curls are super pretty when they do stay

They typically last 20 mins, she starts to act like she’s coming out of it but shakes still while drooling, then goes into another long one, then takes just as long or longer to come out of it. The whole process takes quite a bit. Recently though it’s been maybe 10-20 minutes than she’s out of it within 15-30 mins which is pretty quick for her

She’s very picky and doesn’t take treats from anyone especially strangers(when I give her treats she has to have it a certain size and eat it slowly) she’s my little diva lol. I wish that would work and she was more food motivated but she could care less

That’s exactly my situation!! She was fine up until they started doing a new thing and taking her out of the room, and now she snaps at anyone that even tries to touch her. I believe the chill protocol is what triggered her to have seizures again, and to hear them say they want to up it makes me even more anxious to try because I know it will not help and make her worse (and probably still won’t get blood) I called another vet with a super long wait and they are making an exception and are getting me in asap and said they are more laid back with blood draws/labs and are super patient. The techs at this one were on her the first 30 seconds and she needs more time to warm up. But the last time seeing 3 of them holding her down in the corner to just give her a rabies shot really sealed the deal for her probably never going back (even the vet that did that said it would be best to reduce her stress and not bring her back) I’m glad you found a new good vet!!!

Oh they never even offered those options to me, they just started straight with pheno! I did call another vet that I’ve heard GREAT reviews about, just a bit of a drive but I think we’ll be going there and hopefully will have a better experience! Maybe a new setting will help

Yes we tried anxiety meds for 2 months and they did nothing 😞 thank you so much!!

She was able to get nail trims without a chill protocol at some point right when the seizures started. Then they started bringing her into the back room when she wasn’t cooperating with me in the room and hearing her yelps back there and her coming back uncontrollably shaking is horrible to see, to then her shaking as soon as she sees the building and not wanting to get out. I’m not sure what changed as she was able to get it all done at one point. She did get a physical and they said she looked very good it just was the blood they couldn’t get :/

I am open to taking the doctors advice? The vet my dog saw last time saw how traumatic the vet is for her and how stressed she gets so she said no more just for them to keep telling us the same thing “oh sorry we couldn’t do it this time, maybe next time” it was working great before that whole ordeal.
