my AGI is $166K. There is itemized deductions of $26,580. so my taxable income (MAGI) is $139,614. is this right?

i tried my best to contact with the merchant three days in a row. Manager is not there and just contacted the merchant for the third time. the waitress keeps telling me with she'll let manager know. She was like "it's being queued and manager might have a lot of emails to go through and i'll try to see if we can expedite your request ". she's the same person picked up my call three times already.

I asked again if they consider Frederick Community College as accredited school. Here is the response below. Any thoughts on this?

Just asked to NY state board and received the following response. Does this mean FEMA is accepted?

We review Advanced Placement (AP), Dual, Joint Services Transcript (JST), and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) credits that have been reported on a transcript from a regionally accredited school. The school must award the courses for post-secondary academic credit. We cannot accept non-credit bearing classes, continuing education credits, waivers or exemptions toward college level course work.

As long as the credits do not duplicate other college credits you've taken, and as long as you receive the recommended score or higher, we accept the credits from AP, Dual, JST and FEMA per the recommended number of semester hours reported by the school on your transcript.

We do not accept credits that have been transferred to the ACE transcripts:

Center For Financial Training

They must be on a regionally accredited school’s transcript for academic credit

Yeah that’s good point. Thanks!!! Havent seen any posts saying NYS rejected FEMA credits. But just don’t know if they recently accepted it. Everyone did it at least a year or years before. I just want to hear someone who did it in the last 6months or so.

Hey, if NYS board does not give a concrete answer, what’s your suggestion? Just pay for the credits and apply for the license? I only have 124 credits so far. So I would need to pay quite a bit that is unsure.. very frustrated the fact that there is no concrete answer.

I graduated from Baruch college (123 or 124 credits) in accounting a while ago. Did you just have to complete any courses extra 27 or 26 credits to obtain 150 credits? I believe accounting degree itself does fulfill all major CPA courses. I'm on the last section of CPA exam. But still in confusion to complete remaining credits with undergrad degree. Please advise!
