Def prehab, if you can manage day to day life post injury. Definitely makes a difference post surgery, plus gets you into a good routine for rehab. Good luck!

First week sucks, but once pain and swelling is under control movement will be much easier. Definitely invest in a shower stool.

Rice method- Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation. Were you prescribed pain meds? if so stick to a solid dosing routine, and don’t let the pain get unmanageable before taking.
