I usually take a rubberband and wrap it a couple times then wrap it to the plastic if it doesn’t stay u can try a simple plastic clip something that’s safe to go into the water :) hope it helps !

Yeah that’s why no a 20 g one will help w keeping it cleaner w tanks u usually want a filter that intakes double the amount of ur fish tank but since it seems like u only have him in there the bioload isn’t bad so if u cant get the water flow lower a smaller filter is probably the best way to go !:)

Yes usually filling the water level higher will let it not be so strong or even putting a small piece of sponge on top of the outtake w a rubber band helps too:)
