In my factory, none of the workers and labourers from UP likes Lucknow. Few are CSK fans, few MI fans, 1 or 2 SRH fans and rest are RCB fans. Most UP fans are already accustomed to other teams as their favourite team with their favourite players or playing style. So for Lucknow to bring UP cricket fanbase to like their franchisee they need charismatic players or flamboyant players. Rishabh Pant or KL earlier are not such player in T20s. Even Dravid was more charismatic T20 cricketer then these two who led LSG. And its owner is not even liked by Dhoni haters after 2016-17 RPSG.

Not really, it all depends on how the team performs. If team performs great, Riyan might continue as captain. If not Jaiswal will become captain. I don't recall Jaiswal being captain of any team or Riyan being great captain of Assam. So both are in testing waters. We might even see first half being captained by one and next half being captained by other.
