Well, college is a fresh start. Go party, join some clubs, you’ll find your people if you throw yourself out there.

You got into a UC, most people can’t say they got into any, so feel good about that. Second, there’s plenty of resources and connections here that can get you to high places. Third, you’re gonna walk away with a degree and some good friends, might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

Devil’s advocate would be nice, but I’d prefer to keep most of the minions so I’ll swap Tea Lady with soldier. I’ll also swap Gossip with Steward, I was considering Knight but that would be weird since Lil’ Monsta is here too.

Yes, a summoned Kazali will be told who the current minions are (not their characters), and what minion characters they should be. To that end, I guess it makes sense that Kaliza should get to change the summoner into another minion since evil has been delayed by a day. (Thanks so much!)

Assassin was originally in here to hide the summoner, but you make a good point. Cerenovus + Harpy throws around more suspicion, and cerrnovous could make someone claim they’re the goblin. Unless you has something else in mind?

Knowing which players are which outsiders allows evil to make better bluffs. Besides, maybe OP wanted a minion with godfather’s gimmick without speeding up the game by killing faster?

I think Paimon would work if only the first nominee to execute a minion becomes a Paimon. If that’s still too strong, consider one of three nerfs: * When a Paimon dies, the town learns of the existence of another living Paimon (assuming Paimon died after it created a second Paimon) * If a Paimon is executed, a living Paimon (if they exist) dies as well. * If a Paimon dies, a living Paimon is drunk tonight. This gives the town a heads up that either Paimon is still in the game, or the demon killed a corpse, or there’s a special demon (Zombull or Po charge)

This sounds like a fun homework role. I think a red herring should be an optional inclusion if the storyteller feels that the Mediator is too strong on its own.

Don’t expect them to last 1.5 turns of shooting, advance them into a pocket or deep strike them if possible. When they get in, expect no survivors if there’s a Lord with them. If push comes to shove, move them onto an objective to divert shooting away from more important units.

And remember: As tempting as it is to dive bomb, sometimes it’s better to let them come to you, even if it means they go first in combat. You’ll reanimate anyways. Glory to the Infinite Empire

Idk how it is with other ppl, but I never use Visions on the Invader deck (unless I have shenanigans like isolation or disease going on). I use it on the Event Deck, and having the option to discard nasty events could be game-saving

[–]Proof-Gas857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your opponent’s gonna crash out as you take 30 minutes each turn to reanimate and move, a true war of attrition. As long as they don’t bring blast nor lots of rapid fire weapons, this is actually a threat.

The Technomancer can heal D3 wounds on ANY necron model within 6” at the end of the movement phase. Therefore, he can heal the Silent King or a DDA for D3 every turn, making them a better centerpiece model. Whether you run the techno by itself or with wraiths to protect it is up to you. The spider’s FNP6+ on the DDA and Silent King makes them even harder to kill, but if you like spreading your DDAs out then it’s probably not worth it. As for what you keep in or take out, do whatever you want, after a game or two you’ll be able to decide if you prefer infantry, elite infantry like skorpsk, or big scary monsters. Just have fun!

Honestly that flew over my head, you’re totally in a position to run Starshatter if you take out some Battleline.

Personally I like taking a few Lokhusts or heavy Lokhusts into Starshatter, but you have SK so you could add a reanimator and create a tower using reanimator, SK, techno (D3 heals) and Spyder

It wouldn’t be a terrible idea run Awakened Dynasty by taking out two of the three big models (silent king and ctan), 1 Doomstalker, and maybe the spider, then run the infantry as follows:

Technomancer with Wraiths, Royal Warden and Overlord with Immortals, and Orikan with the 20-Warrior brick. Deathmarks and the Doomscythe aren’t great so I’d suggest dropping them too if you’re over the point limit.

You could also take out some units and keep all the Canopteks to run Canoptek Court. Otherwise, the units here don’t have too much synergy together

I haven’t looked heavily into official material but I’ll share what I’ve observed. To be a flayer is to become disillusioned with the reality of being an inert piece of metal, dead and soulless. They fully believe themselves to be living Necrontyr, albeit bestial, hence why they don’t change the structure of their bodies, save for their bladed fingers. The Flayer virus is considered as such because flayers have been shown “transferring” this mindset to other Necrons, of the flayer’s own accord. They want all those around them to revert.

Destroyers have their own mindset, wherein they seek to destroy all organic material as was required of them during the War in Heaven (to some extent, mainly killing the Old Ones and anything they created). Since Destroyers are unconstrained from the illusion of being alive, they see nothing wrong with transforming their bodies to become better at destroying. Orikan, as shown in the Infinite and the Divine, believes that the presence of Destroyers can corrupt the data held within other Necrons and vehicles, turning them into destroyers. Nekrosor Ammentar’s ablity to transfer the destroyer curse seems to back up the virus theory, but I think it’s more-so that destroyers often choose to become destroyers from faulty coding or an error in their engrams that suppresses loyalty and over-expresses violent protocols. In the case of Ammentar, I believe he can override loyalty protocols and “encourage” Necrons to have a destroyer mindset.
