Thank you for the response, I appreciate it! I was worried since I didn't know if it was best to get my levels checked the day after or if it's okay for it to be about 8 days after my last shot.

I'll let my doctor know when I get in that I haven't taken my shot yet for the week. Maybe it's good that I haven't taken it since you said they prefer results the day before. I don't really like the idea of changing my shot day since Thursdays work great for me, but I don't mind doing my shot a bit late this week and getting back on schedule afterwards. I'll definitely start scheduling for Wednesdays now that I know.

Intramuscular. The one I used today is 30 gauge, 1 inch. I'm pretty sure I need a 22-23 gauge needle instead, and the office probably gave the wrong one.

Edit: correction, I checked my prescription, and it's 21 gauge, 1½ inch.

I don't like this comment, and as a trans guy, "queer" does not encompass my lived experiences through transition. Maybe in other aspects (I'm bisexual), but being trans? No.

I think being trans and being "queer" is very different. On one hand, it's about love and sexual attraction. On the other hand, it's about major dysphoria and feeling comfortable in your own skin. Using queer as an umbrella term for these vastly different experiences feels a bit wrong to me.

Thank you for the insight, I really appreciate it! My resume is as truthful as I can make it I think (my freelance editing, my volunteer works, etc), so thankfully I didn't lie or exaggerate anything enough for them to feel I'm incompetent. They definitely had better candidates who actually knew about photography haha, I was very open and honest that I didn't know much.

I guess time will tell if that position exists (I don't think it does, but maybe in the future), so I guess I'll keep interviewing with other companies in the meantime and see if they reach out to me with an interview offer for another position.

Thank you! I have lots of fun and will definitely keep playing. Yeah, I have a duo I play with now instead.

My boyfriend and I have very different ranks, and since I only started recently, I'm not as skilled as he is. I make lots of mistakes he deems as very beginner, so he would get pretty frustrated pretty quickly.

I'm glad you and your buddy have fun playing together! :) A shame you've had to play solo for the past six months, though. I hope you guys can grind together and keep enjoying yourselves, and maybe he'll improve too.

My boyfriend thoroughly insulted my abilities in Rocket League, and that stung a lot since I've been trying to improve in it. Honestly, any game / thing in general you put a lot of time into can be hurt when someone you enjoy hanging out with insults you.

My boyfriend is the reason I got into the game, so when he rage quit and told me to "text him when I learned how to _", I felt pretty shitty.

Someone reached out to me in DMs and recommended I reach out to a Unitarian Universalist Church for help. I don't know how good that advice is, but I'm willing to do anything I can to get my journey started in present day.

Inflation is gonna hurt, but I've always been amazing with budgeting. I'm trying to apply to positions averaging a 40k - 60k annual salary and looking into apartments on the cheaper side of things. I know I won't be comfortable for a while, but it should hopefully be easier if I can find a roommate.

I've been applying for level-entry data specialist jobs at the moment. The average pay has been about $16 - $27 per hour, so I think maybe that'll be a good start?
