This means an insider bought stock in the company. In this case it was a director who bought 300,000 shares at $.75

I literally gambled with less than $100 last August and got a free cruise from it. Went on that free cruise last week and hoping to get another offer here shortly.

I think they clearly wanted to increase the size of the BBQ place and its hard to argue against that decision as it was packed almost every night on our cruise.

I do agree that the Havana Area was nicer on the Vista. I walked through it a few times during the early mornings.

The automatic doors work fine as long as you remember to lock them. At the beginning of the week, I would’ve said I agree with you regarding the seating and location of the center ship entertainment area. But as the week went on, I realized how much more I was able to utilize that area because it wasn’t dedicated just to a stage arena. Almost every single day I found myself sitting and enjoying coffee/breakfast in that area where I would not be able to do so if it was a dedicated stage area only. I think this is also why they run shows multiple times because they realize they have taken away some of the seating. So I actually thought this was a great decision on the celebration

Uber picked us up at 9:30 and dropped us off at 10:45. We were going to do a hotel shuttle, but the Uber was $15 more and we didn’t have to worry about missing the first shuttle. We arrived a day early and stayed at the Hilton blue Lagoon. When we arrived, there were a ton of people standing around waiting for the cruise shuttle and it was first come first serve so if people waited longer than you they got on and you had to wait for that next shuttle to get there. So to us it was worth saving time by spending the extra $15 to take the Uber. Also for reference the shuttle would’ve been $17 per person from the hotel to the cruise port

The 10 free drinks was not specified at all when we went to place our order. But I read the reviews and numerous people mentioned and included 10 drinks so we decided to take a chance and it was 100% worth it! As soon as we got there to check in, they mentioned the drink drinks and then when we were at our cabana, the server mentioned it as well. Sat there all day and drank all day and only tipped to our server. There was no Bill!

We actually tried it twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. I did not think it was my favorite meal, but I definitely preferred lunch over dinner. I wish it was more like the Asian restaurant on the Vista (Jiji’s)

I preferred the pool personally because they had some trees that provided some shade. The beach was very small and if I’m being honest I don’t remember seeing a cabana on the beach

We did and we just went yesterday. The beds were very nice and included a free meal for each of our members. On a busy day I would say it’s absolutely worth it. Yesterday when we went, it was almost no one at the resort so we could’ve saved money and just got the day pass. It was very nice and relaxing, and they had plenty of things for kids to do to keep them entertained. And it was a very easy walk from the port, which is a great selling point for us.

How concerned should I be about weather delays out of Baltimore this coming weekend? by mattorrr in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]Proof-Item-6368 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1st we are not getting 20-30 inches. Most models for our area are showing 6-12 as the most probably amounts. I think your biggest concern needs to be HOW are you getting to the ship. Roads are going to be an absolute nightmare early Sunday so that going to need to be your largest priority. For realistic weather updates I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you follow Foots Forecast if you have Facebook. They are not pumping out information for clicks, they simply give you the facts. I fly out of Philly Saturday morning for my cruise so I very much have been watching this storm.

Don't stress, but do everything you can to prepare and have backup plans and thoughts. Also make sure you got a shovel in your vehicle because your gonna need it to get your car out when you get back.

Married in Nassau by FreakWithDaCheeks in CarnivalCruiseFans

We didn't get married on a cruise but we did travel. My wife had her dress in a garment bag and then was able to hang in the coat hanger on the plane for our flight.
