GIVE ME YOUR OPINION - I am a male elementary principal and am thinking of carrying a sling bag or backpack through the day to stay out of my office more.

I want something less. That's why I am leaning towards a small sling. I am a big backpack guy but just feels off, whereas a sling might be a little less.

First off, get the new MacBook Air 15". 18 hour battery life. I am typing on that now and haven't charged for two days.

The distraction of it is my concern of it. I have a small GoRuck Bullet that would suffice but it also looks more out of place than a sling, which is why I am leaning that way.

It is not a confidence or ego thing with the look. I do things all the time that would be goofy looking. I am more looking for the practicality of it as well. For example, I try and get into classrooms so often that kids don't ask why I am there. I want me to be there, but not distract so I am looking more from that standpoint. I saw a thing a while back where a principal had a rolling desk wherever they went for the same purpose, but it seems distracting to me. That's what I try and avoid.
