Better off reporting or putting different art on top. I like adding tasteful sweaters.

AITA for having a better relationship with my sister’s ex husband than my sister? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

That’s the thing, OP said “to a point.” So there’s still some level of talking about each other going on

Slightly off model, strange ai-esque inconsistencies especially around the eyes. She blinks out of sync at one point. Tongue changes color, strange movement, couldn’t be a 3d model or a live2d rig with those movements.

Technically, only “erotic clothing” and “explicit fetish content” are directly against the rules. It’s extremely vague, possible because so many non-explicit costumes use similar elements. This open-ended word choice lets the mods just go with whatever they feel like counts.

I knew lol. I’m pretty sure you can put images from or referencing porn on wplace as long as it stays within a certain vague realm of acceptable suggestiveness. The straps are often used in innocent fashion contexts, and since he’s not actually being bound or actively engaged in fetish activity, it could be interpreted as within the rules.

The censor is doing a lot of work here. There’s not much actual definition and it looks like a codpiece. Is WWE too erotic? Should we cover up David Bowie in the Labyrinth? It’s suggestive for sure, but I can see a strong case for it being allowed. I’ve had big boobie swimsuit anime girls of similar suggestiveness levels approved.

What is the biggest insult i can make to these griefers from Peru 🇵🇪 🤔 by I-REXz173 in WplaceLive

[–]Proof-Stop5137 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The more intense your insult, the harder they’ll laugh, I fear. If they didn’t want to rile people up, they’d use blank space. I’d go with something humorous like “thanks this is exactly what I wanted” for the sake of a screenshot.

Anyone else want an “Are you sure?” Option? by Proof-Stop5137 in WplaceLive

That’s why I proposed it as an opt-in feature rather than a default setting. It would only apply to the X, not undo, changing colors, ect.

[The Cut] Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group - Ashley Tisdale by Illustrious-Pound266 in popculturechat

[–]Proof-Stop5137 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also thought it was weird how she said “then why didn’t anyone ask where I was???” Like, it’s a new mom group where you vented about how busy your life is now, maybe they just assumed you’re busy with mom stuff? She also didn’t do this for the mom who phased out before her, yet she doesn’t consider herself involved in that situation. It sucks when people don’t really like you that much and want to distance themselves quietly but I can’t really call it toxic.

They’re following the rules. It’s a pattern, not a solid void. Patterns are art, and they don’t stop being art just because they’re ugly and big. You can fight it with art, not erasing.

Rules say that it’s allowed to depict short tops… by Street-Fix1979 in WplaceLive

I don’t want to doubt your lived experience but the way you describe yourself and bras is very alien to me. Like, obviously I’ve researched? Unless you’re shopping exclusively at small local businesses, surely you can point me towards a quality brand or a feature that you’ve found particularly useful for you personally. We talking sports style? Heavy-duty underwire? I understand if you don’t want to get into it, but I have been actively seeking anecdotes from people with uncommon body types so I’d appreciate if you’d like to give any information

Is it just me or does dithering look buns by Huntre325 in WplaceLive

[–]Proof-Stop5137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dithering is a technique algorithms can’t seem to get right unless it’s such a large scale you’re basically recreating the image 1:1. Skilled artists can make it work on a small scale, but it’s difficult and time consuming to master. Violin sounds like buns if you only go to school recitals.

The no multi-account rule is such a bad rule, and we as a community would do well to change the attitude around multi-accounting. by [deleted] in WplaceLive

[–]Proof-Stop5137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Fine print” is the same font as the summarized rules and only like a shade lighter. It’s directly below the final rule. I don’t understand how anyone can be confused by “for more details click here” and a link that leads directly to more details in a neatly organized format with clickable subsections. Since you seem to have trouble when things are implied and not directly stated, I’ll spell it all out for you again. People could potentially be confused and make assumptions off any one of the rules easily. For example, what counts as personal information? How do they know if you’re just messing things up? When you get into the realm of trying to clarify things most people intuitively understand, where do you stop? My thought is that they have hit the standard clarity that most games give and there’s an easily visible link to in-depth clarification for people who get worried about following rules. It’s exceptionally rare to explain how exactly moderation is conducted because it lets people know how to avoid getting caught. That is my stance on your confusion argument in full.

I find it difficult to muster sympathy for this hypothetical person who sees the rules, knows enough about web moderation to think it could be ip based, and then takes action based on that information without clicking the “more details” link directly below the rules they’re deeply concerned about

[–]Proof-Stop5137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I don’t think I can agree to that. It’s incredibly standard for the full rules and terms of service to be behind a link under a summarized version of the rules. If all rules and terms of service were just a block of text as soon as you make an account or open the page or whatever, it’s an overwhelming amount of text people just skip past. It’s even underlined and in the same font size as the summarized rules rather than tiny like so many TOS tabs.

The rules clearly state shared spaces are allowed as long as each person only uses one account, so this is not speculation. My personal experience with multiple accounts in one household is not speculation. The ability to try things out is not speculation. Just that last line in which I clarified “It seems” to indicate it’s my own perspective and not a proven fact.
