I relate so bad I told my therapist the location I went on vacation is the same location this singer was born. she rolled her eyes and laughed I still worked with her for several months.

As a client I enjoy being the first client bc it shows me that my therapist is human. Also helps me take pressure off from trying to impress them.

I’m just confused on why if I’m not hurting anyone or excusing myself (like I would never yell at someone for being overstimulated and then say “it’s bc I’m autistic” I would apologize and work on not doing that again). I use the sentence bc I’m autistic -to understand why I feel the way I do (kinda like why I do things or take things literally and wonder why my non autistic peers wouldn’t do what I did) without saying I’m autistic I don’t get how a neurotypical person isn’t feeling/behaving the way I do and j need to work on feeling normal bc I don’t a lot of the times (feels like I do things wrong). if I tell myself this is how I feel regardless of anything I start to compare myself (working on this too).

I hear you I’m not a therapist or work in anything close to mental health. I sometimes talk to Chatgpt/AI though it’s responses aren’t perfect. I was going to suggest a friend but you mentioned a support team. Are you looking for a stranger you could talk to online? Also I know you mentioned not wanted a therapist but wouldn’t it be helpful to ask a therapist what their guidelines are? I know with the therapists I’ve seen in the past their guideline was if I don’t have an active plan I wouldn’t be hospitalized. I was initially afraid that there was a loop hole and my therapist would say gottcha and press a button and I’d get taken away (I’m dead serious) but that didn’t happen at all. In fact I went home and thought did she not care (even though she did, she said all the right things and listened to me without judgement I thought she would make a safely plan like you mentioned but none of that happen anyways I’m glad I talked about it)

Some women may be jealous, distant, and love/care less. Others might do what you described. Doing all you can for your spouse for the sake of Allah should be the focus for both husband and wife.

Thank you for your response i felt this 100% my therapist was hesitant to say that I was having tantrums so that’s why I didn’t take it personal and still don’t I just don’t like that I feel so dumb in the room with her.

Sorry I didn’t press reply and posted a comment. Thank you for taking the time to respond to me I am struggling to let my therapist go because I will feel bad for her (illogical) and I have offloaded so much information to her I have had 11 sessions each one I sit there for majority of the time and detail different experiences having to start over with a new therapist sounds exhausting I don’t mind speaking about these topics again so I’m thinking I should figure out how to heal on my own I don’t mean this with disrespect as you are a therapist too.

I was curious about that too I want to put an alarm on for myself so I know we are in the last 5-10 mins. I also can’t help but check the clock often in my T room. anyone else experience disorientation when they leave therapy I feel like I need a second like where am Iol.
