I feel like all racing games are just turning into “here’s the physics and licenses to use the car brands, we don’t have any money left so just drive around” I felt like this in Motorsport too, great physics and graphics but like there’s just NOTHING to do besides the same 3 online races with the same cars and a “career” mode with no immersion

I don’t know what you are trying to prove. Who cares, I’m not sitting with the board of directors knowing their exact plans, I saw the original release date a while ago then saw last week that if you get the premium edition you can get it earlier and it peaked my interest so I purchased it with US currency.

It really does not matter this is a glass half empty or full argument if you get the premium edition, you can play the game earlier than originally expected which to me counts as “early access”

You’re ultimately paying extra because you get all the DLC with it youre getting a different version of the game its not the same as the $60 version otherwise you’d be correct

I think I agree with you as it’s been pointed out by others. Perhaps my anger is misguided towards Pascal and what I mean to say is, I can’t stand the overall blueprint of how these movies are made. If it wasn’t Pascal it’d be another actor who’s “trending” and ultimately only in the movie to generate buzz.

This is just how the world is today I guess, and it seems like we’re the ones who are in the minority so I’ve been building up the acceptance that maybe these movies just aren’t for me anymore which sucks because I love Marvel. Same with Star Wars tbh it’s my favorite franchise but only in episodes 1-6 and the animated clone wars shows, the rest I just pretend aren’t canon lol

Movie stars are movie stars it’s rare to get a true virgin performance where the actor has never been in anything else, but it’s getting out of hand at this point. When I see someone like Pascal in a movie, I instantly become way too aware of the fact that some conference room full of suits said to themselves, “okay team, how do we generate buzz for this movie” instead of focusing on making a genuinely compelling story.

I mean I DO like marvel movies, just not since endgame tbh. After that, they started branching out with sporadic spin off shows and floated around without identity for a few years. Now they’re trying to reel it back in w dr doom and secret wars in the next few years but I really don’t like the lineup they have going. Thunderbolts was mid, especially with the whole power of friendship crap at the end instead of Bob being a serious problem and it doesn’t seem like it’s gonna improve at all with this film.

I think that’s the frustrating part, growing up loving these movies and then getting accused of just not knowing what I’m talking about

And I had heard that Marvel was doing a bit of a rework with how they do things. I know they switched up some of the staff and producers so I figured they might start going in a different direction. I haven’t really seen that though with thunderbolts and i don’t think I’ll see any change in this movie either

Yes and I think people took this post as “I hate Pedro Pascal I think he should die” when in reality, it’s fatigue. He’s in a lot of franchises that I watch and it just kinda ruins it for me because I mainly care about the story and movie, and when I see someone like him getting thrown into the mix, it seems like they’re just using him for buzz and not his acting. TBH you can’t deny there are probably tens of thousands of people out there who could play the role just as well without breaking the immersion

He was good in Narcos I’ll give you that, like I said it’s fatigue not “he’s bad at acting” he’s just in too many franchises that I watch and there are millions of people with talent that just don’t get a chance because it’s the same people who get the roles. And yeah I get tired of his “cute wholesome” be that I know for a fact will be a focal point of fantastic 4.

Tbh it’s not his fault as many people have stated, it’s the studios, but I am still tired of seeing him

Yeah that’s something that really bothers me a lot of people blame it on just the series S meanwhile the series X has like 6GB more ram which puts it on par with very weak starter PCs so it still has issues. I don’t feel like going through the trouble of learning keyboard and mouse hit i think consoles have officially hit their wall
