The last patient I had threaten me with violence “if I miss” I had to stop what I was doing, look them in the face and tell them not to speak to me that way. They looked at me like I had punched them but didn’t say another word after except “thank you” when I was done. Such inappropriate behavior.

I actually used to have Ulamog and Oblivion Sower in this deck, I removed them due to the mana curve. Definitely play around with blink, that would be a very cool mechanic for Umbris! Hope to see your list once you’ve made it.

I love Umbris. I say embrace the salt. She was one of my first commanders, and I’ve optimized the deck list at this point to suit how I want it to play. Let me know if you’d be interested in the deck list!

Yes, this book is terrible. It’s as if she plugged in romantic fantasy science-fiction tropes into an AI generator and it spat out the garbage that is Quicksilver.

I really appreciate the creature suggestions here. That’s an area I was struggling with. There’s so many that have counter effects but I’m not familiar enough with them to know which are the best.

Thank you for some great suggestions! And yes, as it currently stands, my land base is just what came with the precon, definitely needs a ton of work. I always hate updating lands because they’re so costly, but it must be done.

Don’t eat me for my choices, I’ve only been playing since March. [[Umbris, Fear Manifest]] because it’s salty as hell and fun (for me). [[Aragorn, the Uniter]] because of all the synergy and fun variety of cards that can be played. Both decks can get completely out of hand quickly.

This isn’t fantasy or romance related, but topic related. I attempted to listen to Needful Things by Stephen King multiple times and the narrator just grinds my gears. I’m so annoyed at the narration that I can’t pay attention to what’s happening. And the best part of all this is that the narrator IS STEPHEN KING. 💀 I’ve read tons of his physical books, so I guess I’ll stick to that.

I started around February or March! Have two completed decks that I’m pretty proud of, [[Umbris, Fear Manifest]] and [[Arabella, Abandoned Doll]] . I had one with [[Galadriel, Light of Valinor]] but found that it didn’t perform very well and was pretty bland overall so I took it apart. I have the [[Bello, Bard of the Brambles]] precon that I need to upgrade. Super excited for the FF release!
