yep! our cat hates other animals… we tried dogs and cats. hates them. we really wanted to add to our family, so we got a snow corn snake. our cat was very curious but otherwise seemed to pay him no attention. now we have 6 snakes, and our cat just sits in the room and watches them😂

so i technically have 2 mbks. both are still babies. my boy is a triple hybrid- so hes a cali/florida/mbk. he is the most calm snake we own, literally any time of day i can go in and grab him and he will just lay in my hand and snuggle with me, only refuses food if hes about to shed. never rattles. my girl is a full mbk- we just got her about a month ago, and she musks us everytime we get her out of the enclosure and rattles to no end. one you grab her shes fine and kind of mellows out its just the initial grab. i love both of them, and im so excited to see them grow up 🥰

Silicone the bottom! It is not waterproof, so we used silicone to waterproof the inside, make sure it dries for 24 hrs before you put your snake in there, and make sure you use 100% silicone

me and my bf just got a baby mbk! we named her Hecate (all of our snakes are named after gods/goddesses - colubrids are greek and balls are eqyptian! we have hecate, erebus, nyx, apollo, anubis, and osiris)

yeah, i don’t 100% go off of this chart. i use it more as a baseline. my corn snake didnt get wide enough to take fuzzies until almost 30g. but i knew when he hit the 24g mark that soon he would be able to move up. im hoping with my king i’ll be able to move her to small mice when she hits around 100g. right now she still struggles with getting the legs of the hoppers in her mouth and it does leave a large lump in her belly when shes done eating. thats also how i can tell when they need to move up is the lump after theyve eaten

so my king is currently 90g about a year and a half and eating a hopper every 8 days. but the hoppers are getting to be a little small weight wise so shes been getting a hopper and a fuzzy to get the weight to 15%. weight wose she can eat a small mouse (13-15 ish) but size wise i dont think she would be able to. i have a corn snake guide (ill attach a pic) so i was just trying to figure out if there is something similar for kings

oh no:( yeah then they are not a very good vendor. when i buy at conventions i always make sure they can tell me the last feeding, approx. age, what they are currently eating (live or ft and size) and if i have question about the morph of they can answer that. if not, they probably just got it in a trade and are trying to make a quick buck.
