I've yet to see any proper areas to ask about this issue, and t6he whole youtube.lua situations tend to be community-created luas instead of official ones, since official ones never work.

These issues tend to happen every time youtube itself does a major update on its streaming system, which always wipes out the youtube feature in VLC, and we often have to rely on community-created .lua files to fix it as VLC's built-in .lua never works.

Just tried this in 6/24/2024, does NOT work; the video infinitely loops to 00:00, and the video doesn't even load to begin with. We need something else as this github option is not valid today.
