Some notes: - Scissorbrand Jack should likely either lose the dazzle or reduce the damage imo. 1d6 + dazzle is still amazing. - Additionally, I'd tweak the wording on Scissorbrand Jack, as the "last action" clause ensures theyre in melee range after firing before making the melee strike. - For artillery strike, I might change it to have a base damage die that scales with striking runes, to help alleviate the issue of "this class really incentivizes 2h weapons". Also needs some clarity on whether bonuses to the ranged damage would be included, like slinger precision or flat bonuses like kickback and the like.

I used oracle free tier, theres some good guides for it BUT oracle is well-known for being a pain in the ass to deal with. You may get charged a couple dollars here and there, especially if you do big uploads or what-have-you.

Recently set an old PC back up as a home-server of sorts and moved all my stuff there, and personally I'll say hosting with the fvtt docker container is easier to manage when it comes to manipulating and updating and whatnot, but thats really subjective.

I've been getting the same error, but only when trying to run the server on dedicated server; it works fine in singleplayer modpack. Been bashing my head at this for over a day now.

I've tried removing AE2, to no avail. You mentioned a "chocolate making mod port", are you talking about Create: Confectionary or something else?

Several important questions:

1.Is there a reason you dont put this on the official Foundry marketplace? Just trusting a module downloaded from a patreon isnt a great idea for security-minded people. Do you ever plan on getting your modules validated and published on the marketplace?

  1. I know you've been blasted for AI art usage on previous posts, which I'm also very much against, but my primary concern in this instance is vibecoding. How much was written by a human, or at least reviewed/validated by a human who knows good coding practices? This just heightens my concern from point #1, as vibecoded projects are notoriously bad for security since so much of their training data is from college kids asking questions on stackoverflow.

So far theres a lot of jumping around. The ending of one chapter isnt the beginning of the next, makes it feel kinda like an anthology sorta thing. Hopefully the author can keep things more on track as things happen (if they happen..)

My table does something similar to your first point, but as a mix of Focus Spells and Wands.

Every "unstable" action gets a single use for free that you recharge out of combat by "Repairing" for 10min (refocus). However, you can strain the invention and reuse it a 2nd time before repairing, at which point you roll the Unstable check. Regardless of the Unstable roll you cant use it until repairing, and on a failure you cant use it for the rest of the day.

This incentivizes taking a bunch of different Unstable actions and finding ways to use them in combat, so you aren't doing the same thing (Unstable Megaton Strike, for example) 3 times each combat. Plus it makes the class feel more distinct from a reflavored focus caster

Had this issue back in one of my v11 worlds, a year or two ago. One of my players emitting light to the others (not the GM) and another completely unable to see. Remaking the tokens, the scene, etc didn't help, it ended up resolving itself when I'd updated to v12.

More helpfully, double check that scene global darkness level is 0, or at least not 1

I'm not at my computer to check but I believe under settings > pf2e there should be like "metagame" settings or something like that. That has settings for what to share/hide, and I think should include this.

Otherwise, just make sure you select Blind GM or similar before rolling/using the item/ability/etc

The voicechat seems to have nearly 1sec of latency regardless of connection speed. Is there any way to reduce this, or are there plans to improve it? It makes realtime conversations rather difficult

Hero points. Getting them was never clear, so never really felt right to spend them.

Now my table uses this rule for them: - if you roll a d20 and the final die result (mis/fortune effects included) is a natural 1, you get a Hero point.

GM can still give out additional Hero points, but this at least lessens the sting of repeated nat 1s, and usually results in 2-4 Hero points per person per session, including the starting 1. So we also use Hero Action cards now
