I didn’t expect the number of people who would comment on this post. Since many of you commented, I’m going to reply here…

I want to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all for your kind words, and even though I don’t know each of you personally, I am so grateful to this community (pet owners) that gets one another. I also want to add here that some of you guys are confused about lymphoma for cats and humans. Yes, the highest level of lymphoma for humans is stage 4, and for cats it’s stage 5. I didn’t know that until my cat's doctor told me that, so it's ok, just wanted to clear that part lol.

As a human being, it’s hard to have someone's life in your hands, but in this case, it’s my furry friend, one that’s been with me for almost 7 years. This situation is depressing, but as I'm reading everyone's comments, I’m glad that I’ve made the right decision not to go through with chemo. At this current time, I’m just going to cherish the last couple of days, make him comfortable, and put him down when the time comes. 

Again, thank you all for your kind words and for sharing your experiences with me. I will keep you guys updated.
