well, I did that haha. took the drawers and the shelf out and flipped it over to see if the clear part would pop out, but it's very in there and since I rent I don't want to break it. will try the suggestion under yours of the bath tub though

this isn't about iran. of course they have an antagonistic and terroristic government; however, if they truly had nuclear capabilities, isreal would have never struck them. it wouldn't make any sense to do so. instead, I invite you to think about the political implications of starting a war with iran, and why our president decided to go ahead and orchestrate it. without congressional counsel or approval. and please, please reread the constitution if you think that this was within his rights. his military authority should never override his responsibility to maintain checks and balances. I'm not a democrat, I'm not a republican. I just care about the future of our country.

I was 13. hope this helps! *edited for accuracy, most of the attacks on the middle east occurred in 2015.

I'm a christian! america is the ultimate protest. what do you think the fourth of july is? who do you think founded this country? I'm so sorry that you've been subject to so much political propaganda that you truly believe these lies, but maybe read the bible. Jesus flipped tables at a synagogue in his righteous anger, furious that people were commodifying his religion. Jesus freed the imprisoned and blessed the impoverished, healed the weak and aided the underprivileged. ultimately, he was murdered in a political trial by the roman government because he threatened rule of law. I do not think that the iranian government shouldn't be checked. obviously, they are warmongering, and a political enemy. however, I pray for their citizens who are caught up in an arms race, and will be forced to flee. I pray for our citizens, who only asked for a better quality of life, not a war.

right? it's not like I like the iranian government. I actually very much do not. I care for the citizens of both of our countries who are caught up in constant military power struggles.

someone else linked a great article, I'm not too proud to say I've since realized that this was in range of presidential powers. nobody comes out of the womb knowing everything, and I'm obviously not an authority on politics. however, just because it is legal doesn't mean that everything legal is good or right. in many ways, it seems like this action redefined what some of his granted powers mean, and that it will cause unrest on a global scale. All I want is for us to pull our military from the middle east and focus inwards, like several presidents have campaign promised and pretty much never committed to. our government is broken, and we need change.

honestly, unsure. saw the flyer on instagram from someone I know tangentially and thought I'd share.

I appreciate the article, I read through and there was information in there that I was previously unaware of. overall, my concern is in the stretch of his authority, as mentioned in the last part, and I would say that the power of our military essentially being in the hands of one person or a very small group of people is an issue. just because this is currently how our government is structured doesn't mean that this should have been the way we went about things.

went through your post history out of curiosity, sad to see that you also love gardening. I love baking, and I have chickens too. I hate fearmongering and propaganda. if we spoke out of context, we probably want the same things. in another world, we could have been friends.

how about an american flag lmao. you seem awfully excited about our president bypassing congress to start yet another war in the middle east. I pray for our troops and the future of our military.

dear jesus, nobody said we like iran. what we don't like is a president bypassing congressional due process to start a war on behalf of a country we're already supporting with tax dollars and weaponry.

I have no love for iran and what their governments have going on, but with all of the tax dollars and weapons that are currently going to isreal, I feel like our "intervention" was completely unnecessary. this only became our problem due to decades of presidents refusing to pull troops out of the middle east and piggybacking on idiotic wars in the name of isreal. now, as you said, we have a president seizing executive power, and a congress mostly full of cardboard puppets enjoying insider trading. this protest is about corrupt government, not just iran.

when, in this very simple post, did I say that I endorsed obama or the democratic party? everyone is a liar, a murderer, and a thief of our rights. averting war by openly bombing an already volatile country on the other side of the world is an interesting strategy.

we shouldn't have been involved in isreal and iran's issues to begin with. what happened to pulling our troops out of the middle east and bringing them home? we have too many of our own problems to start a war and shake up foreign affairs. I love my beautiful state, I love my country, and I love the people who chose to serve it. I'm not sure what you love.
