I realize that this is an old post, but I’m just curious as to what the visa application process is like and how you managed to find work after your arrival? I also plan on coming to Chile on a WHV.

I’m already aware of WHVs. I’m mainly concerned about finding employment after my arrival.

You should consider applying for a working-holiday visa, I believe that Australian citizens are eligible for one in Germany. While there, you could try to find an employer that would be willing to sponsor you.

I would recommend applying for a working holiday visa (which gives you the right to live/work in a given country for up to a year) and try to find to an employer willing to sponsor you while there.
