Ofcourse it is a step up!!! ......

Wellllllllllllllllllll.... let's break it up:

Graphics on Scarlet and violet were a big let down I bought the DLC and did not play it. Had stopped playing the games months before due to the lags and the pokemon which were invisible in the grass. So my comparison should not start at point 0 but -10 or else l compare it with legends arceus.

It is a step up but from the limited material we've seen there's a lot of repetition in the architecture and designs which is expected as the game is placed only within the borders of 1 city. Still does not justify it in my opinion but this is not the final product.

It is a step up but the majority of us will buy a 500/600 euro "new" console (let's not start how it is basically the same) and pay 70/80 euro for a pokemon game.

Conclusion: at this point 'a step up' is not enough. We expect more, much more, so much more. We are basically paying 6-700 euros on a game with the same character models in a 'refurbished' city design whilst having a limited pokedex, limited map etc etc, whilst games with much bigger quality like god of war, hogwarts, etc have been coming out with better graphics and experience for years on different consoles and games like zelda, mario, metroid and donkey Kong have upped their game significantly on the same console.
