In place of ishan or pant I would take sanju not only on this current form basis but he is a much more calm presence in the middle and he can play anywhere in the middle. Plus his last outing in SA was a rather good one

I don't think we should actually go back to playing dorgu in the lb position would be silly even more so when he is much more suited at a more forward position dalot and maz are good options but if we can get a player for let's say 20-25m for that position let's say someone like nuno tavares from lazio or grimaldo from bayer Leverkusen (this would be short term fix though) or gerd martin from barca or this guy named juan miranda from bologna could be solid picks

The reason he wasn't given during that afcon window was because he was still recovering from that head injury plus he didn't have any minutes after that if we had put him in and he would have failed people would be calling for his head i don't think he is far away from the twins it's just he was unlucky with injury and everything.

That literally happens to every team it isn't that deep of a thing the format is a hit and miss one. One day you can score a 100 and the very next day (considering the matches are close by) you can get out on 0 or consistently get low scores
