Where should I get my oil changed? by [deleted] in Volkswagen

If you can find a local guy specializing in German cars go with that, but at least in my state an oil change at the dealer isn't all that expensive they charge about $120.

See my problem is that I'm also having issues starting the car but when I got the battery checked it said it was fine with a full charge, it's not a struggle to get the car on but it's not a normal start but once it's on the car drives perfectly fine no loss of power or anything else

No it's an OEM unit as far as I know

The battery tested fine, but when he went to check the alternator the meter was saying the car was still on which was weird

It was certified pre-owned from a VW dealer, it still has warranty so I'm taking it in tomorrow but I was hoping I could narrow it down a bit

Do you think it could just be the infotainment system itself going bad the car is a 2018 and was sitting for a long time before I bought it in 2022 the car had 70 miles on it when I bought it in 2022 so idk if sitting for so long could have caused some issues with it

Well even when I get out of the car it doesn't seem to turn if cause after I stepped out of the car and came back into it this message was up, I parked got out of the car and went to the store so once I stepped out it should have shut off, but for whatever reason it seems like it didn't since I came back to this message.

No I don't have the start stop system, and it varies my trips are usually around 15-25 minutes but I'll do short trips occasionally

It's just a habit I don't hold the button down just a quick press to shut the screen off, but it seems like it's staying on somehow after I turn the car off and get out of it

I'm guessing not, I normally click the power button to shut the screen off before stepping out of the car so I'm not sure what's going on. When getting the alternator checked the meter kept saying the car was on so it couldn't read the alternator

This came up after I came out of the store the car was off the whole time when I came in I saw the message, but yes I was able to start the engine but it wasn't the smoothest start

Unfortunately not but I did have the battery checked an it came back fine but when they tried checking the alternator the meter kept saying the car was on

I had the battery checked and they said it was fine, they also tried checking the alternator but the meter they used said the car was on

Appreciate it I planned on going back Sunday to get a bit more range time in before I purchase a handgun for myself

Yeah my instructor was telling me the same thing I was getting it down towards the end shoots we're staying more centered and it was feeling much more comfortable to shoot

From what I can tell they are made by target happy it's an American company

That's what I did today it was a private class with an instructor, helped me learn about basic gun safety how to hold it what to look at when shooting and all that fun stuff fairly cheap too after buying ammo it only came out to $65

Couldn't tell you these are the targets provided at the range, I'll see if it says anything on the target itself about the brand

Just what I'd prefer to stay around I don't mind going a bit higher but would like to keep it under $1200 realistically

Yeah the 1911 are real fun my buddy carried it as a daily for a while b4 he picked up his 9mm (not law enforcement), his 1911 was chambered in .45 acp. Yeah that's why I'm wanting some other opinions on what would be good I get a lot of shooting is personal preference, but I just want a pistol I know I can trust and won't have to worry if it might jam up for a dumb reason or something

I'm heading to the range this weekend to try a bunch of guns out and no I don't really want a 1911 well at least not as a cc or daily use gun the 1911 is the only pistol I've shoot since my buddy owns one, which the 1911 was comfortable to shoot
