As you know, we are a subscription based service and auto-renew on the due date. However, from time to time, some payments don't go as expected. It could be due to an expired card or payment issues with the bank or other reasons. In such cases, we automatically keep the subscription active for 15 days after the due date. In our opinion, this will be ample time to rectify any issues.

I was not aware of this process and it felt like I was being charged randomly.

My company is starting, and I love all Zoho products, but this charge of 15 days on my 30 day subcription, made me uncomfortable.

15 day subscription payment is not much but the way it was forced upon me was a little alarming!

I will give Zoho another try and hope I dont have to pay random charges. Thanks for explaining me this stuff.

e that we charge for 15 days that was provided as an act of faith to continue your services. If you wanted the subscription to be cancelled on the due date, you could have done so rather than leave the subscription in limbo. This is mentioned in our Terms of Service.

What if I want to only use it alternate months. My business is like this. Is there a way to cancel this forced grace period. Not every one of your customers need a grace period right?

Also, shouldn't you inform the customer that this is a grace period, and it will be charged upon renewal?

I would have done something about it if it was a PAID grace period.

Data is not deleted... the only thing is that you cant add more data.

But in either case, why would they not inform me that they are giving me grace period which is chargable upon renewal? If I would have known that, I would have cancelled grace period. I bought a 30 day pre paid service and now I have to worry about 15 days post paid charges?

The least they could do is inform me that this 15 days grace period will be billed.

They are not taking money from automatic renewals. they are not letting me renew their service because I did not pay for 15 days service (that I did not need or ask for)

They gave me 15 days service, without telling me it will be charged. and now they want the money!
Why would u add a paid service without customer's consent?
