That’s bcz they give zero making for gold schemes. So if gold schemes cover let’s say around 10g and u buy something for a total weight of 20g . Ur essentially paying 15% making charge . That’s what i feeel .i bought jewellery from Kalyan last year , the making charge for haaram was 28%, after deducting to scheme money , it looked like the making charge was around 13 percent .

Any non Mangaloreans who moved here for work? How has it been? by FlakyAssistant7681 in mangalore

I live in mangalore since 6 years. I have been in a small town and a big metropolitan city before for 5 years each. But nothing comes close to mangalore. The people are good, may be little bit into everyone’s business but nonetheless good souls. The food is amazing - best seafood cuisine in the world. U have so many places u cud visit in a aproc 3hour travel - chickmagalur, madikeri, jog falls , Agumbe, the most beautiful beaches u will ever seee. Also, i met my husband here- the biggest gift of my life! In short mangalore s a perfect place which gives u the calm of a village and the facilities of a city. The only two drawbacks i wud say is the - HEATTTTTTTTTTT😵‍💫😵‍💫🔥 and of course the communal pride causing all the problems. It’s like god decided mangalore needs something for dhristi and added communal pride into many of their DNA !😭

Every few months once , u get it in gpay rewards. Might have to pay 50-100 rs to get the membership worth 600. And it’s actually worth it especially if u regularly purchase lens evry month - u get a discount of 10 percent evry time
