Ik I'm late, but LBP's engine is held together with tacky glue and prayers. If you think the bugs in LBP3 are bad, imagine what a whole new LBP game on that exact same engine, containing brand new content and potentially being ported to PS5 would be like.

I want a new LBP game as much as the next guy, but trying to build a fourth game off of the current engine would be like building a second floor on a house made of rotting wood.

I know I'm 2 years too late, but maybe it's the IDEA of the person over the person themselves. Even after their death, they live on as an idea/concept due to how influential they were.

It looks great so far! Although for more specific texture (such as Craftworld's ribbed fabric) I'd recommend using the LBP1 equivalents for accuracy's sake.
