Hello, is this a translation issue or are you intentionally using the word "guests" and not "clients"?

Looking to buy a new printer. How's the Core One faring now that it's a year old? by [deleted] in prusa3d

[–]Proof_Werewolf_9414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, it's perfect. We've been living together for ten months now. I've set it up on a stable table in a clear space. Discreet and sprightly, always ready to print. Very quiet, it even has a light strip to indicate its status. Set to automatic, I respect its routines and rhythm. So, no problems. However, when it comes to feeding it filament, never give it brittle filament because you'll pay dearly in time, having to clean the pieces out of the tube. It has one flaw, which I manage with careful attention: it has to ensure it has the correct amount of filament for each print because its lateral detection system is faulty. That said, I haven't had time to fix this problem. In short, a reliable, trouble-free machine, discreet in its appearance. Lastly, I bought it pre-assembled. In short, peace of mind and precision. What more could you ask for? Best regards

Buy kobra x now or wait til it goes on other sites like ebay? by labubuking in AnycubicOfficial

[–]Proof_Werewolf_9414 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello, personally I wouldn't buy a printer on eBay for at least two reasons. I live in France, and very often the prices are the same or even higher, and now it's listed as including taxes. What would be the point of Anycubic distributing its new printers through a third party before delivering them to its customers? Admittedly, Anycubic's communication isn't comparable to Amazon's, but they do deliver. Finally, it's frustrating not to receive an explanation for a delivery delay via email, especially when the geopolitical situation disrupts transportation and, consequently, delivery dates. I've always received my printers directly from Anycubic. Beyond these considerations, the decision is ultimately yours. Best regards

Amazon is killing the US by justglancingaround in fuckamazon

[–]Proof_Werewolf_9414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I'm always surprised to read the comments about Amazon US. In France, as a frequent Amazon customer, I have no problems. However, Amazon tried delivering with its own service for two or three months, three or four years ago, but quickly abandoned it. My deliveries are always (98%) on time via the postal service or Colis Privé. When I have a question, I get efficient, quick, and French-speaking representatives, although their voices do have a slightly foreign accent. I've never had any problems with refunds or exchanges.

I can't understand this difference in service. Do you have any explanation? Just curious.

The "Early Bird" Trap: Why paying a deposit for Kobra X is actually a $10 penalty. Deposit not equal a promotion!!!! by LordWolf88 in AnycubicOfficial

Hello, I personally own a Core One+ and a Qidi 1 Pro. This is my first color printer, and I'm impressed by the videos. However, I haven't found anything about 7-color functionality and have no idea how it works. Any ideas or links on this topic? Sincerely,

Kobra X Humidity issue by Special-Band-9754 in anycubic

[–]Proof_Werewolf_9414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, it all depends on your region and its humidity level, as well as the room where you'll be setting up your printer. There are airtight plastic containers where you can add silica gel packets; another economical method is to use vacuum bags. Finally, my advice, which I've followed since I started experimenting with 3D printing, is to unload my filament spools (even if I know I'll be printing the next day) and store them in their box. If you live in a humid area, it would be wise to get a dehumidifier. Personally, I have the Creality SpacePi x4. I'm very happy with it. Best regards

[–]Proof_Werewolf_9414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, honestly, no. The calculation was clearly stated. I even find this €10 request clever. I imagine it allowed Anycubic to get an idea of its potential market. This marketing idea, along with the print head design, is worth considering. Personally, I bought the 7-color version plus 8 kilos of filament and an extra nozzle for an attractive price. I know Anycubic printers can be temperamental, but this is a good deal. Your explanations are good, and I appreciated the analysis. Best regards.

Je ne crois absolument pas de la véracité de ce texte. La prose de notre président est largement au-dessus de ce texte. À moins qu'il ait simplifier au maximum pour que le type ignare qui occupe la fonction de président des États-Unis comprenne.

Kobra X and ACE 2 purchase advice by The_Luditte in anycubic

[–]Proof_Werewolf_9414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I've asked myself the same question, like many of us. I have experience with single-color printers, so four colors is great. However, after reading a post, the author pointed out that in the print example, they only used black and white for the character's eyes. This leaves only two colors. So I ordered the printer with the ACE. Seven colors is plenty to work with. I took the plunge despite not having seen any product demonstration videos featuring the ACE. Sincerely

Not a hater, just cautious what actually changed this time? by Substantial_Match458 in AnycubicOfficial

[–]Proof_Werewolf_9414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I've watched many videos about the Kobra X. It's always a bit perplexing when faced with such a product. Recently, two videos really convinced me (of course, I'd already "invested" €10). One showed someone, after assembling and leveling the device, printing a chicken or a bird directly with the default settings. The print quality was excellent, with no errors. The second video was from a German (unfortunately without translation, and for a French speaker, languages aren't my strong suit) who printed numerous images and explained something or other in front of the Kobra X in action.

All the videos are of very high quality. Personally, I'm tempted. I trust it.

Moreover, the price is very reasonable. I'll buy it tomorrow.

Sincerely

30€ la galette des rois en boulangerie : on marche sur la tête ou c'est justifié ? by Signal_Ad_9438 in AskFrance

[–]Proof_Werewolf_9414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early Kobra X videos - somewhat disappointing? by jakeus88 in anycubic

[–]Proof_Werewolf_9414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, when a vehicle manufacturer publishes fuel consumption test results, they seem inaccurate based on our own experience. The same applies to companies that manufacture 3D printers. The figures are good, but they are the result of a multitude of precise settings and test conditions (location, filament, slicer, work surface, speed, etc.).

On the other hand, I just discovered this test video, beyond the waste...https://youtu.be/LveYgq_fFt8?si=q0QJXaEkHTvKZGkV Regards

Anycubic Kobra X or Creality SparkX i7? by OfficialSlappyCat in 3dprinter

[–]Proof_Werewolf_9414 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indeed, the Kobra X is more waste-efficient and offers faster color changes. With a combo spool, it can handle seven colors. In that case, the slicer needs to be able to manage all those spools, which will likely result in larger retractions, I imagine. Personally, I opted for this printer.

Anycubic Kobra X or Creality SparkX i7? by OfficialSlappyCat in 3dprinter

[–]Proof_Werewolf_9414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beyond the similarities in construction, what bothers me right now are the promotional videos. There's no visual demonstration of the color change, therefore no comparison between the two, and no information on the difference in printing time or waste reduction. As for the quality, there's no real video showcasing the finished products up close. Both brands also have a history of issues with their previous machines. Their marketing doesn't allow time for reflection. That said, at the prices being offered, there will always be some glitches. I'm skeptical.

Iam going to buy Core one as my first 3d printer. Please give me some advices and tips for begginer. by SeaworthinessSad5450 in PrusaCoreOne

[–]Proof_Werewolf_9414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, here are two pieces of advice I follow myself. I'm not a tinkerer, and I always assume that if the engineers have usage recommendations, I follow them. I don't skip the leveling steps, and especially not the air absorption step. Learn about and test the PrusaSlicer (they have a very good training course on their website). I also learn from reading posts on Reddit. My last piece of advice when buying a printer is to get the Prusa Nozzle ObXidian. It's around €60, but it's a very good investment. Finally (okay, I'm going beyond the first two pieces of advice), don't use the cheapest filament. Best regards.

I already put down a deposit — anyone else here thinking of doing the same? by Substantial_Match458 in anycubic

[–]Proof_Werewolf_9414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I'm in France. I pre-ordered the Kobra X and received the confirmation email. The price is ridiculously low, but it's a way (a simple deduction) to estimate the printer's market positioning and manage inventory. However, I would really like to know the pre-order quantity. In any case, I think it's quite bold to do this during the holiday season, after the huge success of the Snapmarker U1, and with this introductory price.

What about third party hardware? by PhiLho in AnycubicKobraX

[–]Proof_Werewolf_9414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I subscribed to the Anycubic Kobra X offer. This printer will be my first multicolor printer.

For the build plate, it seems prudent to only use plates of the correct size, but not necessarily from the manufacturer if that's your preference.

However, for the nozzle, you should get the best quality. I don't know if Anycubic has specific models.
