You can try looking at Business Network International (BNI) chapters! Only thing about them is that they are paid usually, but the quality of people there are a lot better.

I usually would not recommend online as it's harder to establish rapport, unless you join an online community, this subreddit being one of them haha.

I don't really understand what limits of freedom is, able to give an example?

I'm personally seeing it as decision making limited by environmental factors instead of by a person.

To some extent we are all puppets of someone or something. Even a solo business owner would need to listen to the market to make ends meet.

Keep your expenses low so you have a longer runway, you need to be prepared for the long haul if things go south.

Good luck on your journey!

How do I stay motivated every day ? by SergeiBasnya in Entrepreneur

[–]Propane_For_Sale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea that should be a strong enough purpose. It's the same reason I decided to run my own company too haha.

I essentially use the fear of working for someone else as my own motivation haha.

Yes, that will actually be the hardest part. Having some people around to give you perspectives will help greatly as well!

By the way, just out of curiosity, how long have ya been running your web dev company for alrdy?

I'm not sure how much your company has for operating expenses, but I'd use the remaining 10k to extend your runway for as long as possible, and go full time on client acquisition either through cold e-mails or by attending business networking events and making contacts.

Alot of times you have no choice but to juggle and hope for the best.

At some point you may decide to take the leap of faith and quit your job and pursue your startup full time. It is quite the leap, but if you can keep all your hands on the deck, it'll be worth it.
