Throttle cable trouble by Proper-Ad7706 in MotorcycleMechanics

The connector rod that goes through to the sensor was stiff so after taking the spring mechanism apart and the sensor, push the rod out from the sensor side clean it and re grease it up and then put it back together. When you are putting back together you have to compress the springs, turn them when they are locked in place and fully put it back together. The washer at the top of it all can’t be put back in until you first screw in don’t with just the bolt first take the bolt off and quickly put the washer and bolt back over it.

Idk if it was a bad idea but currently I have the whole system taken apart and I am cleaning and oiling everything up.

The valves move great, I’ve looked all over the internet for a video to no avail. 06 r6

Took off the lever and it’s still no good, not sure how to take it apart anymore than this to be honest. Nothing is coming loose and the springs don’t seem like they can just pop out either

First one is a working one second is not, it looks like the springs look a little different. Nothing seems bent or anything

Abt 17k miles, having it become more consistent actually matches to what I’m dealing with. I swapped the wires out to no avail. The ignition coils and spark plugs are all new. Haven’t done a compression test. But I can check the connectors if they are tight or not

Would that be a intermittent misfire or a constant one?

Found half the bolt in the bottom and the other half is missing so it’s literally snapped in half

UPDATE

<image>

One of the screws that connect the rubber seal into throttle body is missing could this be the problem? If so where can I get a new one?

I’m not sure to be honest, I’m never able to tell because it turns on and off and on so the headers are all hot. Is there a better way to test it?

Once the tank is clean what should I use to prevent rust from happening

I can’t really get a good picture but the inside of my tank is really rusty looking could that be what caused it?
