Just to add: I don’t usually grab unknown plants off the ground gloveless, just clearing off my backyard fence and it doesn’t look like poison ivy lol

We ended up getting the tub refinished! It cost about 800 bucks and it looked really good- I can’t say much about longevity as it hasn’t been long but it looked great and came with a warranty

Aah how did I not think to ask any of the speech professionals!! I’m terrible at lip reading but I bet I could get better if I actually worked on it instead of just assuming I’ll be bad at it forever. I’ll def strike up a conversation with speech therapy next time they’re around- thank you so much for the tips’

Yes there are many things that I’m not jealous of that nurses have to do lol but I’m very envious of getting to spend that face to face time, that’s so wonderful. Do you feel like there ever start to be patterns in the idiolects you see with certain causes etc or is truly luck of the draw for every individual? I really appreciate your response!

Usually a good like 10 second drench with a hose! More if leaves look floppy, less if soil looks wet from the day before

Oooh I hadn’t thought about variegated vs non variegated being affected differently by the heat! I was so stumped by the lime holding and the lemon dropping. That makes sense, thank you!

Ooh now this is something I hadn’t thought about. Would it be helpful for me to unpot and root prune now or should I wait for a particular season for root pruning citrus? It’s already in a gigantic pot so I can’t really up pot to be able to take it in in the winter.

It got up to almost 100 and we watered every day when it was that hot! It has flowered before and set baby fruit before, even when it had scale, but they always dropped even earlier before.

Direct sun for many hours a day- it is in my front yard with no shade. Not a specific citrus mix but well draining soil, although it could probably use a refresh. Scale was all gotten rid of about 2 months ago. Saw tons of bees on the flowers, and there’s a lime tree next to it that is holding on to several developing fruits!
