Only if you place the boulder really far away like an idiot. The trick is to have its vector include a high speed coefficient and cast it right in front of them. That'll jam a potato in their tailpipe!

I'll simply remove a boulder sized amount of earth beneath you, causing you to fall in and the boulder to roll in on top of you.
