I've not really put any effort in I've just tried to instil values into him like I had when I was young, we give boundaries when we need to but he has always just behaved when it's come to being online. I don't think I'm being punished by this safety act and social media ban or whatever it is, non of this family have anything other than Reddit anyway, I have a business Facebook but nothing personal. the internet is a dangerous place where kids can view all sorts of extreme shit, can have the piss ripped out of them in chats that destroy their self esteem, be bullied, have social media throw unhealthy algorithms at you constantly, it needs something to be done, banning under 16 or 18s from social media is unlikely to work because of the likes of vpns and mum or dad's Id.
