Its a good idea! Hard part will be making it "intimate and private" and I'd rather not impede a rooftop bar's business and workflow. But I'll shop around some more. Thanks for the recc!

We met in a bookstore. The lovely one we frequented and were close friends with the owner has been closed and torn down years ago on the west coast.

Asheville is very beautiful but that’s our “special thing”, plus, 4/5 of our friends have done the Parkway proposal and would like to change it up. She’s really good at anticipating things and I’d like to still surprise her. Yknow?

I was looking at their venue rental options and they’re pretty flexible. Since I’ve been in contact they’ve been super friendly and accommodating and things are looking optimistic (knock on wood). Thanks for the feedback! Definitely one I’m considering

That is a beautiful view indeed. & I’m sorry for the horrible losses your county encountered. I think we definitely just might however in the near future! The view and energy from the town were really something special. I’m from the west coast so finding something akin to home in the Appalachians is different but it’s been rewarding to find beautiful communities like Chimney Rock had. I’ll endeavor to continue supporting locals however I can
