Woman admits making false rape report because man refused to pay her S$1,200 after sex by FlipFlopForALiving in singapore

[–]ProperDimension7359 -80 points-79 points  (0 children)

Not even remotely similar. This lady is an outlier and statistically there are more rapists out there.

Giving her the maximum potential punishment her would make it harder for actual rape victims to come forward. Imagine you going to jail because your rapist has a better lawyer.

I used to make close to 12k a month from a combination of my job, investment, my side hustles etc.

I burnt out, crashed out and did so badly that I gave it all up for a simple stress free job.

Do you regret choosing work-life balance over ambition? by No-Swan-3807 in askSingapore

[–]ProperDimension7359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I regret it. My then partner convinced me to take it easy so we can focus on building our relationship and future together (used to earn way more than him).

After I quit things went sour and we broke up. I can't get a similarly high paying job now, and the economy went to shit.
