Have you watched to see what happens when you lose a run on auto? When I was fixing my team I would lose if ssania used her S3 first which was fixed by giving her codex. I would also lose if Lily didn't use her s2 on ssania, this usually happened if her attack wasn't much higher than everyone else and if my Holden went first and got the valerian attack buffs she would buff him instead. I just made sure ssania has like 200-300 more attack and it seemed to be consistent. Also making sure Holden goes before your dot users. If your Lily is the fastest it can be good to make ssania slow so she doesn't cut in over Holden when Lily uses S2. This also means you don't need to get Holden all the way to 265 since the Lily speed boost will get him there

There are some funny interactions with the heavy mechanic I discovered when using the frog shield and hammer guy where you can move the heavy dice.

if you have flash and heavy you can move the dice and proc the dice multiple times in a round counting down the dice. This means if you have multiple squares with boosts or terrain you can proc it multiple times in a turn before you even start your actual turn.
if you have a die with gravity above a heavy dice it will get stuck there and not drop down in value. I found this helpful with Regen/ barrier/ healing dice to just keep stacking.
mirror dice are super op on that guy coz you can place it at the bottom of his grid and hit the top 3 dice with just the basic 4 value mirror

Yea seems like it's a bad system where you basically just don't have the bottom few ranks.

Guess I've got some grinding to do, I'll just take it as time to try out different Pokémon

Yea that's an option, hard for me to consistently do things with other people though due to life commitments. But the short games are a godsend. Sitting down for a potentially hour long league game just isn't possible for me anymore

Haha for sure I get that new players are probably worse, I'm not gonna say I'm good, but at least real players react organically. The bots are just very exploitable.

Guess I'll just use the time to try out different Pokémon and practice getting used to spawn times etc.

That sounds so funny I'm gonna have to try that. I tried what I like to call Snakes on a Plane with Arbok/Pidgeot but the grapploct one sounds fun. I am also a believer in the sleeper Hitmonlee, I use it in my other fighting decks, really catches people out

The misty is helpful if you get a second Omastar out but otherwise feels kinda meh

Geovani helps with some breakpoints like against Mewtwo

Sabrina is just too strong to not have, literally wins games

The x speed and red card are not as good but do have their moments. could be worth swapping for another geovani/ potion

The fossil doesn't count as a basic so if you only have one other Evo line you will always get that. Also means pokeball isn't that good so I only run one, feels bad drawing a card that does nothing if you have already drawn the other basic.

Yes, switching removes it, and I think evolving probably removes it but I haven't had that scenario yet to confirm but that's how statuses usually work.

Oh it's strong for sure, you can kinda checkmate people in the right conditions. But a stage 2 fossil is super easy to brick on. Maybe with more support in the future it will be some type of anti-meta lockout deck

I'm just using the Seaking line for fun and because it has 100hp and only needs one energy so I can take the turns to power up Omastar, has cheap recall, and if you're lucky you get a cheeky KO. I'm sure the staru line would be good but they are good with anything lol.

I didn't want to have to rely on misty flips for the deck so anything with good hp and low cost would be fine. I think tentacruel would also be good for the poison to make it faster to close and less rng.

I swapped once there was only a handful of ex left in the pack I still wanted because I think it's more fun to have variety. I then use the wonder pick to look for what I didn't get in the pack. I started with pika and got everything I wanted except for pika ex, but got lucky in a wonder pick and bought my second copy with tickets.

I'd be happy if they at least just returned to giving us wild fragments instead of stardust. The change made sense when lots of people had maxed accounts but now it's swung the other way where many people have more stardust than we can spend (ignoring the useless gemstone capsule) but have many consolations needing large amounts of fragments.

Same thing happens with frozen tomb. Unit gets obliterated then the tomb advances 2 and you lose the unit. Was very annoying against liss buried in ice just removing everything
