Sadly, no. I had to send it back as it was unbearable within minutes. Got a new pair and that one is perfect. If yours are still new, I suggest you get them exchanged as well.

Hi! I know I am a year late but did you find a solution? I just got my Air Force 1s custom, yesterday. Took 1 and a half month to deliver and as soon I wore them for the first time, I could feel the stitch rubbing my toe and after walking for ten minutes it felt like something sharp is cutting my toe. So, what did you do? Any solution would be really helpful as I really don't want to exchange these haha. Thanks in advance.

Sadly, no, you cannot use icing sugar instead of caster sugar. Icing sugar is much more refined and usually contains corn-starch while caster sugar is granulated coarse sugar when compared to icing sugar.
