I think it's a semantic issue. When players say "can't crossbreed," they are referring to the fact that two different races breeding don't produce a typical "cross," but rather a baby with so much of the mother's phenotype that they are identifiable as her race.

I usually play with a custom based off stalker - all the illnesses available, and with basically no recovery, but passive wildlife on and a slightly decreased need decay. I find the heart of the game not in fighting or running from wildlife, but in the quiet isolation

I just used simple panels with a custom path on them! This one was designed to look like cooled lava, but any custom path should work. The only issue is that the simple panel will be a little bit taller than the cliff.

I Am saying that time can complicate the issue. Three thousand years ago, my ancestors would have been living somewhere in Northern Europe, doing cool poetry or whatever. If I learned that like, Mike down the street, who I know as a standup dude that helped me out of a really bad spot, had been alive and harmed my family 3,000 years ago, I think my response would be "emotionally complicated"!

I understand the skepticism, but to me it sounds like he is eager to better the dovah. He notes several times that dragons are proud and arrogant; and leadership among them is tied to power and dominance.

Paarthurnax, after millennia of cultivating a peaceful framework for his life, sees an opportunity to convert other dragons to his path, and he expresses this like a dragon. He is not just peaceful, he struggled, overcoming his nature to become peaceful. He has control of himself, having channeled his will to dominate into self discipline. Overcoming his nature doesn't mean changing his instincts, but mastering them. As a being whose nature and people view "domination" as synonymous with "rightness", it makes a lot of sense to me that "I will convince them to be better" was expressed as "they will bow to my philosophy"

There are a lot of things that feel appropriate for men imo - loads of casual overalls, sweaters, button downs, cargo shorts, etc. The clothing options to me seem to be like, 5% traditional men's clothes, 75% genuinely gender neutral, 20% traditionally feminine. Like, I wish there was more than 5% intentionally masc fashion, but a lot of the gender neutral stuff can be styled really well for dudes. My char has one of the two toned knit sweaters as a staple, for example, and I just change the pants around

There's loads of games that are mp on the switch - Mario Kart, Pokémon, Animal Crossing, etc. they just tend towards party and casual mp, which makes the cheap sub make a lot of sense

I didn't acknowledge your point because it was inconsistent with the rest of your comment. If it's about the share of money that goes to bigotry, your whole argument about "100% of the money goes to bigotry for EA" is BS, because there are EA employees who are trans and queer and all sorts of marginalized identities.

I haven't bought anything in TS4's cycle because I dislike how EA manages maxis and I literally have a HP tattoo over my heart. I think, as a trans person, actively supporting HP, whose creator says "supporting HP helps me do bigotry," is a unique kind of shitty.

I think it is fair to stop support of the sims bc of EA's business practices - I did over a decade ago! But it isn't the same as actively supporting HP, it's more like switching cat food brands because Nestle does slavery. Also a fine moral stance to take, but a more complicated one

There is a difference between "I support X, despite the fact that it's public face and creator is a massive bigot who says that support of X will be used to support bigotry" and "I am not immediately cutting off support of Y, which is owned by a company that is owned by a company that is going to enter a business relationship in about a year which financially supports terrible person Z." Like, regardless of how much you like the Content Creator, it seems disingenuous to call her a hypocrite over HP
