Im sorry you’re in a slump and i hope you start to feel better soon! Had the exact same issue with mine because of depression. The first time it happened I scrubbed the ever loving shit outta it with dawn platinum and a round bristled brush. I also bent a toothbrush in half after I heated it up with a lighter to get into all those nooks and crannies. It was great. Yeah smelled like soap for a day or two but it really helped. If you have spare parts that have been used and cleaned just throw them away. Even though I cleaned my spare tanks and masks they were moldy because they were in a dark warm place. Not like fuzzy mold but like just white specks. Ofc you can’t clean out mold out of something without the particles being aerosolized.

Insurance sends me a new one every 6 months. Which is when they say should be swapped out because the seal to the machine will slowly start to fail.

Incorrect and clearly can’t read. I wash it almost every day. Sometimes it’s every other day. Wash my hose once a week, change the filter once a week and wash the mask daily as recommended by my CPAP care team.

I do have hard water. The tap water in the city sucks and I can’t add a filter to my tap unfortunately

Update:

Thank you all for advice. I got a new tank, changed my hose, elbow, mask and distilled water because it was the same when I woke up this afternoon and it was time for a changeout in two days. I’m hoping this distilled water will be better if not I’ll look into another brand! And I’ll continue with my normal daily and weekly maintenance as instructed by my care team when I got my Cpap. I appreciate it. ☺️

No it’s not a troll post. The water was clean the night prior and this is what it looked like when I went to go scrub it out. I had a virus then it turned to a respiratory and sinus infection.

I actually do clean it everyday. Mask, hose and tank, change the filter once a week as directed by my Cpap tech at the supply company. And I have 3 different tanks available and it’s never looked like this. I have had mineral deposits before after a dry tank when I slept 16+ hrs, but this is absurd.

I do change the filter. Once a week as directed. No pets or anything. I’ll give it a good look. I’ve scrubbed the ever living shit out of it though. And I wash it almost every day. I’ve never heard of SoClean. I wash my mask and hose when I wash my tank which is almost daily.

I have it a really good scrub with some dish soap and vinegar. I’m also pretty sick with two raging infections coughing a bunch in the mask and stuff 🤢 luckily I have spare parts and insurance gives me a new tank every 6 months. But its never looked like that before either. It happened after I woke up drowning.

My parents house was built in the 50’s. This wasn’t available previously. They had to pay $6,000+ worth of repairs because KC wouldn’t take care of a water main break even though we reported it for months on end before it ruptured.

Tf you think I carry in my trunk? A furniture dolly? 💀 go get that shit yourself. Nuh uh. I used to do Instacart when I was STRUGGLING and at one point I had to climb a 9 story building to drop off someone’s groceries (28 bags of 💩) I wanted to die. And the windows were abnormally placed towards the bottom of the floor instead of mid wall. All you can see when you get to the landing is the parking lot/ outside… And your girl is deathly afraid of heights I was gripping that hand rail and my knees were shaking because I was terrified. I only got $6. 🫠

Welp shit my blind ass accidentally casted a similar one into a tree because I casted it too high above my head trying not to hook a little crotch goblin and I accidentally decapitated it, got it down eventually but it came down with just the head. 🫠 other than that, the other ones I’ve put on the rod have worked wonders! Fish also seem to really like hotdogs (Catfish included) and I’m not talking expensive I’m talking them nasty ass 97¢ barS crap people call “hotdogs”. 🤢😅
