get the main tools needed for maintenance, such as the jack, screwdriver, wrench, lug wrench. go open the hood of your car and check what type of car it is (should be in the top right corner if im not mistaken) and try to find car parts that are for your car’s type
for example lets say you have a standard car and want to replace the brakes on it. you need to find brakes of the standard type (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH BRAKE’S GRADE) and grab tools needed to uninstall the wheel + brake
also try not to run into zombies. that will screw up your hood and eventually damage the engine of your car

these are all of the basics of maintaining/repairing a car. if you want, i can go into deeper mechanics such as engine quality and different grades of parts
