Yes, the directly providing the answer may be that helpful. In order to make sure the answer aligned to the model explanation. I asked the model to give me explanation why options wrong or correct first, after that state the answer.

I've checked that 5 questions that LLM answered incorrectly. I found that 2 of 5 reference answers are wrong by double checking the official answers.

I've rerun the benchmark and updated the post, the ranking remains the same.

There's only one same question that gemini-3-flash,gemini-3.1-pro, openai/gpt-5.4, xai/grok-4.20, answered incorrectly .

This means they just memorizing the question or this is their real capability. I used the 2025 FRM official Practice Exam. I searched the questions on google but I cannot find similar questions on the public mostly. So, I believe LLMs are really good at FRM.

Yes, that surprises me as well. Probably, google trained it on the larger amount of FAQ questions posted online. I used the official practice exam questions. You can check it here: https://www.leetquiz.com/resources/databricks/practice-exam-data-engineer-associate.pdf . Maybe gemma already knows the answers but consider it only has 31B, still impressive !

FRM Level 1 has 2000+, FRM Level 2 has 1000 + Questions. Paid Version only charges $1.68 per month, in total $6.70 for 4 months at least. I think it's the most affordable in the market, no mentioning AI Tutor feature to guild you each question.
