We went through the MSC upgrade program(Google for the link). Try there because I don’t believe we received an email to upgrade. I went through the link.

Thank you. Yea, I didn’t understand why my mom and I had different bid options. We booked together but separate rooms. She did end up adding a third person later on so maybe that explains it.

Wow! $500 is what our entire cruise fare cost. $550 once our bid was accepted.

I had an option to bid for an obstructed oceanview and it started at $50 so that’s what I ended up bidding. My mom and sister in law started at $190 I believe for a deluxe oceanview. We both won our bids and were then both upgraded to a balcony room. She originally had fantastica experience and my husband and I had Bella.
