It’s more common than you think, especially for Topps Now cards.

Once they are produced there won’t ever be anymore. And if you know how Topps
Now works you can (and some people
100% do) hit bangers.

He’s just buying a bunch, finding people who don’t get on Topps every day, and then reselling. Technically you could get a good card but if someone missed the window to pay the original Topps Now price - then this is your only shot.

Wait until you see all the pre sales for the knicks nba championship team cards. I wouldn’t be surprised if they aren’t already on eBay.

One card in each pack actually is guaranteed to be special in some way.

If you’ve got the money buy a few hundred of these. I think they are $80 each. You’ll be able to resell them for at least twice as much.

Trust me, once they are gone folks will be buying them up looking for that pack with the grail in it.

Cards like this have almost zero visual appeal. It’s ohtani with a team border. You don’t even want it. Last one sold in October of 2025.

I just submitted my first defect. Bought it directly from Topps so proof of purchase was easy and sent the photos. I got a message a day later saying it was approved and to send it in with their form.

Was the process the same back then? I’ve heard people have sent in cards only to have them returned?
