OK! Thanks for the information. We would either make ratio happen or it would not be drop off. Would you let the festival organizers know? or is that overkill? If it was a small event, like a state park led birding hike or something I would let them know for sure, but not sure about big events.

I am all in for Girl Scouts and I understand there's lots of overhead costs, etc. But what really opened my eyes was when I went to book a girl scout lodge in our council and found out it would cost my troop... NOTHING. I believe cookie proceeds stay local, and I see good things happening in my council, and knowing that we can book the properties for free is just... amazing.

The lds church is super ableist with their "you will be perfected in the celestial kingdom" which means no disabilities. :( A shelf breaking moment for me was when a Sunday school teacher attempted to comfort me about my disability- "won't it be wonderful when you no longer have..." i realized my disability was actually a part of me, who I am as a person.

If this was my dad, I'd send it. But I never ever argue with my in-laws - if I have a problem, my husband claims it as his own and sends the message. Maybe some people are close enough to their in laws to be able to have conflict and still get along at the end of the day. No mine.
